ByPalma is the only conference of its kind solely focusing on the byproducts of palm plantation around the globe and their current and potential applications. This includes all Palmae family, such as Date palms, Coconut palms, Oil palms, Doum palms, sugar palm…etc.

The 1st round was in December 2018 in Aswan, Egypt and it was a great success. With more than 250 attendees, from 94 research institutions, companies, NGOs and international organization, representing more than 30 countries. The 2nd round took place online in partnership with University Putra Malaysia, with more than 160 attendees from 14 research institutions, 53 universities, 12 companies, and 9 industry associations, representing more than 25 countries.
